7. Access control systems
A ZeroKey access control system belongs to the customer that owns it, such as a property owner, school or facility. The owner decides who has access and manages its own users.

The system records which user opened which door. An email address is used only to send a user the authentication link that sets up mobile access. No phone number is collected.

ZeroKey does not keep a database of system users. If you use a ZeroKey system at your building and have a question about your access, please contact your property manager or facility administrator.

8. Protection of information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections on the Site and limits on who can access our records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. How long we keep information
We keep lead and inquiry information for three years. ZeroKey does not keep a database of access control system users. Each system's owner maintains its own user records.

10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email hello@getzerokey.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or call 402-915-0704. We will respond within the time the law requires. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

11. Third-party websites
The Site may link to other websites and tools, including hardware manufacturers, financing partners, scheduling tools and social media platforms. This policy applies only to our Site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, so please review their policies.

12. Compliance with laws
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, such as in response to a court order, subpoena or request from a government or law enforcement agency.

13. Children's privacy
