HOW IT WORKS
Two ways to go keyless. One standard.
Some buildings have no network and never will. Some already run on one. ZeroKey installs the right system for each, both Grade 1, both managed from a smartphone app and both installed and supported by our own crews.
Standalone or Connected.
ZeroKey Standalone.
ZeroKey Standalone is built as one system, with the lock, firmware and management software designed together. The lock never joins Wi-Fi, a hub or a gateway. There’s no network connection to drop, no firmware handshake to fail and nothing for IT to support.
No Wi-Fi. Ever. Not at install, not after. Older buildings, detached buildings and remote sites qualify.
No IT. Nothing new on your network, nothing to patch and no security review for new devices.
Batteries built for traffic. Rated for 95,000 transactions per set, more than a year on even the busiest door.
ZeroKey Connected.
No Wi-Fi. No IT. Nothing to drop.
For properties with reliable Wi-Fi, ZeroKey Connected adds real-time control over your building’s network. Same ZeroKey standard, same ZeroKey install crews and same support number to call.
Real-time control. Changes you make in the ZeroKey app reach the door right away, with no sync at the door.
Light IT. It runs on the network you already have, and we coordinate setup with your team.
One standard. Grade 1 hardware, the same ZeroKey app and the same ZeroKey crews as Standalone.
Real-time control for buildings with a network.
Always a way in.
Residents and staff use a smartphone. Management also has access to a fob.
Every access is logged, so even the backup key is accountable.

Not with ZeroKey Standalone. It never connects to Wi-Fi, a hub or a gateway. ZeroKey Connected uses your building’s network for real-time features.
-
We recommend one on the walk-through, based on your buildings, your network and how you want to manage access.
-
Yes. Every property runs on ZeroKey, with the right system for each building.
-
The locks run on batteries, so a building power outage doesn’t lock anyone out.
-
Not yet. Phones connect through the app by Bluetooth Low Energy or NFC, and fobs work on every door.

Each set is rated for 95,000 transactions, more than a year on the busiest doors and longer on a typical unit door.
