The ZeroKey ROI calculator provides estimates only. Results depend on the inputs you enter and on default assumptions we provide, such as rekey cost, lockout trip cost, staff hours, turnover rate, rent, turn time, amenity fees and cap rate. Actual results depend on your property, market, operations, hardware, installation and many other factors, and may be higher or lower.

Calculator results are not a quote, an offer, a guarantee of savings, an appraisal, or financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Consult your own advisors before making decisions based on them.

Estimated ZeroKey costs shown in the calculator are for illustration. Your actual price is set in a written quote based on your doors, hardware, installation and terms.

2. Independent analysis
Some calculator lines and Site statements refer to an independent third-party impact analysis of a 100-unit Class B retrofit. Those findings reflect that property and that analysis, including its stated margin of error (±10%). Other properties may see different results.

3. Savings examples and statistics
Examples on the Site, such as the cost of keys for a 100-unit property, are illustrative. They use ZeroKey field figures and industry assumptions, and actual costs vary by property.

Company statistics, such as locks installed and rekeying costs eliminated, are based on ZeroKey's internal records as of October 1, 2026 and use an average rekey cost of $150 per lock. We update them periodically.
